Mango Body Scrub

My skin/body products of the month!

Body Shop Mango shower Gel and Body scrub

Description:
This reformulated oil-based soft textured body scrub contains loads of ex-foliating salt grains and organic sugar. The addition of mango seed and soy oil leaves the skin beautifully soft and supple. Containing Community Trade organic soya oil and organic sugar.

I love these products together! The scrub can be used once a week and I usually use it for my face but do not use it on a daily basis or you'll find that your skin will become irritated! The grains remove the dead skin cells leaving your skin smooth and fresh and natural oils help moisturize after you rinse your face as the grains begin to dissolve and let out these natural oils. I recommend this for combination skin. The smell is divine I always find myself sniffing the scrub and shower gel more than I actually use it!

I Rate this 9/10! Available at Body Shop £5.

Today I am going to review my favourite perfume of all time which is Gucci Envy Me. I love this perfume because the scent isn't too strong but not too light. It is perfect for the day but not too sure about the night, it is probably too sweet for night. At fist when it is sprayed it can be quite strong but during the day it becomes lighter so don't let that put you off!

The smell is hard to describe but the only word I can use to describe is, is that it's "Fresh". It smells of pomegranate, Cherry, Lily and slightly musky. I find the bottle just as interesting as the scent itself. It is covered with pink Gucci’s G’s and a very elegant and practical shape so it can be easily carried in your makeup bag or wherever you happen to put it.

This 30ml has lasted since June '09 but now it is nearly finished but I will definitely be buying it again. It comes in a bigger size and also in lotions or shower gel. I bought it last summer from Sephora in Paris therefore the price was considerably more. I paid £35 for 30ml whereas it can be found easily for £18.99-£25 in Boots or Semi-Chem. I recommend you try it however stay away if you do not like fruity/flowery smells!

I rate it 9/10

Description:

Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation is a new generation formula that won't rub off or fade. Transfer-resistant technology keeps sin feeling soft, supple and natural, while at the same time providing all-day wear. A lightweight, breathable film helps maintain skin’s moisture balance and stops the colour fading. It is oil-free and dermatologist-tested. The colours available are Ivory, Soft beige, Nude, Sand, Warm Honey and Natural Beige.

This is excellent if you are new to wearing foundation and don't want something heavy. It covers up imperfections well however does feel slightly oily at the end of the day. Using a powder on-top helps! If you have dry skin then this would be the product for you because it is deeply moisturizing and this can be seen as soon as you apply the foundation. I can compare this to MAC studio fix fluid which is about 3x the price or the Rimmel foundation!

It is£5.99 at boots which is a brilliant price considering its a good foundation and can be bought in any drug store.

I rate this 8/10 :)

I finished reading this book not long ago and I quite enjoyed it!
Here's the plot summary:

It has fallen to Chloe, the widowed Lady Stanforth, to manage the affairs of Delamere Hall. Though she loves her grand house by the sea, a series or puzzling and inexplicable incidents over the past year has left her unsettled and eager to find a new home. Her situation is complicated by the arrival of the new Lord Stanforth, her husband's cousin, for whom she has long harbored a deep and guilty attraction.

Newly returned from the war, Justin Delamere hopes he can finally woo Chloe. But he is ordered to search Delamere Hall for missing documents-documents that might prove Chloe guilty of treason, and perhaps even murder. Can he trust the woman he has always desired? And can Chloe surrender her most private secrets to the man who holds her fate in his hands-the fate of both her freedom and her heart?

I rate this book 6/10 due to some irrelevant parts where I usually skipped and it wasn't the sort of book you couldn't put down. However the story is sweet and simple and I recommend it for people who enjoy romance novels!
I recently bought the Manly 120 eyeshadow palette.

My initial thoughts were that they were super pigmented however the light colours are very chalky. There are allot of colours which is great for beginners but if you do use it then be careful not to use to much as a little colour goes a long way. The eyeshadows are not all matte but aren't too glittery either. Make sure you use a base or primer on your eyelids because these tend to not stay for a long time!

I rate this product 7/10 and if you are thinking of buying it then check out ebay!

P.S. I received a set of 10 false lashes and nail design tattoo's with this palette

So for the past couple of months I have been using Maybelline's Dream Satin Liquid Foundation.
- It is a Hybrid air-whipped liquid formula has the light airy feel of a mousse with the blendability of a liquid. It's Formula contains amino-acid treated pigments that help unify the complexion.

I'm really liking this foundation, it gives a medium coverage and you only need about one pump and it will do your whole face. It does have good staying power, but after a while I noticed it does get a bit oily around the nose area, but it will depend on your skin type, how well the foundation stays on your face, by adding powder over the top of the foundation it will set the foundation, making it last longer and give a nice finish.

The foundation comes in 8 colours, and is only £7.99! which is a great price for a drug store foundation. So I recommend you try this one out!

So...For our first post I'd like to share with you something that I have been using for about a week now. It's the Aleppo Syrian soap which is a natural handmade soap made from olive oil and laurel oil. It can be used to nourish the skin and keep your hair healthy especially if you have problems with hair loss. It is recommended for dry hair and skin.

So far I am loving it! My hair feels much thicker and better to work with however the down side to it is that without using a conditioner after, combing your hair will be almost impossible but all in all I highly recommend this if you are wanting to try out something new for your skin or hair plus it lasts for 4-5 months!

If you are interested in this soap bar then we sell them for £2.99 each. Just contact us and we will help you out!
